No soy una usuaria de Apple, pero para mí el legado de Steve Jobs no es tanto el producto de la manzanita, sino aquello de lo que habla en este discurso:
"Again, you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life."

"Don't lose faith. I'm convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You've got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle."

"When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: "If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right." It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.

Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything — all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure – these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart."

Después de que entré está tarde a revisar mi correo y vi la foto en primera plana de Steve Jobs y con un texto en inglés que anunciaba su muerte, casi que me voy a google translator para verificar que realmente traducía lo que yo estaba leyendo.
Es muy lamentable su muerte. Y más aún después de ese discurso tan inspirador.
Siempre recuerdo la frase de que no puedes conectar los puntos mirando hacia adelante, sino hacia atrás. Definitivamente todo tiene una razón de ser!

Amanda, Juliet: es un discurso muy lindo.
Ley: Yo confieso que no soy Apple fanatica ni Jobs fanatica, es mas la mayoria de las veces no entiendo el comportamiento ni los dichos de quienes asi se declaran. Creo que su muerte es lamentable como la de cualquier otra persona que muere de cancer, con muchas cosas por hacer. Sin embargo, creo que cuando alguien deja este mundo, hay que recordar lo que dejó de bueno, y, si algo rescato yo, es este discurso.
